We are celebrating a happy day. A whole family of dog and cat illustrations that have kept us very busy for the past few months are now in the mail ready to become part of a lovely new book.

The ceiling at Le Palais Garnier in Paris, painted by Marc Chagall, is one of the most beautiful paintings to behold. The images Chagall painted on this canvas paid tribute to the composers Mozart, Wagner, Mussorgsky, Berlioz and Ravel, as well as to famous actors and dancers.
To see this work by the magnificent painter, colourist and poet ~ up close, juxtaposed amid the opulence, was life changing. Something to love.

MS. GOOSIE'!
We are always up to 'new somethings' at HEART AT PLAY.
A set of adorable 'teaching' puppets are underway. Ms. Goosie', Moose on the Loose and Ms. Owlly will be ready for their first children's performance with a talented children's theatre troupe in the Fall of 2012. The puppets will definitely be on a mission to make the world a better place.
For now, Ms. Goosie is very happy in the iris garden. That is if George Groundhog is interested in sharing his space. Is there a future lesson on 'sharing' in the works?

At a recent installation held at the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art in the UK, Artist Yayoi Kusama created a great white canvas for children and provided thousands of stickers to thousands of children.
